Tea act
Us colonists have declined to buy tea from the east India company that is being ran by the British. They have put high taxes on this tea and are forcing us to buying this item. Some of us are boycotting so the British don’t make any money from this attempt, some are throwing the imported tea off ships as it comes in and others are burning down ships. The reason we are doing this is because the British are putting to much tax and are using violence to sell this item. Because of our activities the parliament has started the intolerable acts against us in favor of the British. I personally feel that the British are forgetting who we are and what land we have built in favor of them…so they have no rights to take so much money out of our pockets for one items which they give to us for monthly allowance.
My pleasure to be the first to comment! Good to see that you have gotten a start on your blog with a solid post. Now you’re ready to personalize your header – may I suggest pulling aphoto off the net that connects with the American Revolution? Oh, don’t forget there’s a Tremain post due too!
Sincerely,
Mr. D,
Don’t forget that there’s a quiz on Saturday, Nov. 3rd!
